Tesla Motors IPO coming ‘any day’ now, says report

Word on the street — and by that we mean Reuters — is that Tesla ‘s looking to go public with the company “any day.” The luxury electric car make, whose Roadster still goes for a cool $109,000, would be the first US auto company to offer an IPO since Ford way back in 1956, says MSNBC . Quite a notable event, indeed, but earlier comments by Tesla investors (via Autoblog Green ) suggest “any day now” might be any time between now and September 2010.

HomeAway Buys Up BedAndBreakfast.com

Vacation home rental site HomeAway is acquiring BedandBreakfast.com , a site for finding bed-and-breakfast properties all over the world. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but BedAndBreakfast.com will continue to operate as a separate site from HomeAway.

Canadian Communication Services Provider Mitel Files For $230 Million IPO

Canadian telecom company Mitel Networks Corporation yesterday filed for an IPO of up to $230 million. The company, which provides integrated communication services primarily to SMBs, said it plans to use proceeds from the offering to reduce debts by repaying its revolving credit and loans, and for working capital and general corporate purposes, including potential acquisitions
