LG X20 netbook clears the FCC

It may not look quite as sleek as the LG X300 netbook we spotted at CES last month (at least in these pictures), but LG’s new (and as yet unannounced) X20 model has just passed through the FCC, which likely means we’ll be hearing plenty more about it soon. Nothing too special with the specs, as you might expect, which include a 10.1-inch, 1366 x 768 display, an Atom N450 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 4-cell battery, and built-in HSPA 3G, among other standard fare
Comcast deal to buy NBC is done, will be announced Thursday

We told you we had a feeling this thing was happening — less than a day after GE consolidated ownership of NBC Universal in preparation to spin it off and sell a controlling stake to Comcast, CNBC is reporting that the deal is actually done and will be announced Thursday morning. As rumored from the start, Comcast will now own 51 percent of NBC to GE’s 49 percent, and the new company will fold in Comcast’s various content assets, which means the new NBC will rival Disney in size

Befuddled by the Blobo squeezable game controller developed by an upstart company out of Finland? The FCC probably was to, but that didn’t stop ‘em from putting it through their usual battery of tests, tearing it apart, and giving us a glimpse at the user manual and our first real up-close look at the device itself
